Photo of womanArlington Memorial Hospital (AMH) and Arlington Memorial South Medical Center (AMSMC) are committed to providing health education, wellness programs and support groups to our community.

CPR TRAINING
The goal of all CPR classes is to improve rates of survival from sudden cardiac arrest or injury. AMH is recognized as an American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center that provides CPR instructors, records management, site reviews and other resources to 15 community CPR training locations. Additionally, the hospital has nearly 100 professional instructors who teach life support skills to more than 500 people each year in on-site classrooms.

Heartsaver CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
CPR, choking relief and warning signs of cardiovascular emergencies are included topics in this basic emergency life support class. Please call 817-548-6400 for registration information and class schedule.

Heartsaver AED
Firefighters, police, commercial airline crews and others could benefit from this four-hour course that follows the American Heart Association guidelines for content and protocol of an integrated course on adult CPR and the use of an AED. Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Health Care Provider
CPR skills for victims of all ages, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and relief of foreign body airway obstruction are among the topics included in this course designed for those who work in a health care setting.
